  is the building still standing, is the crypt still there, where exactly in california is it, street address etc.. who was it sold to when the watchtower got rid of it in i believe 1944.

  WOW !!!!!!!!!!!, you brought back nightmares for me, my last statement to the elders before i left

  I was preparing to move 2000 miles , Niagara Falls to Calgary, and the night before the elders called me and said they would like to talk to me (now I had been living with my girlfriend for over a year by this time), and I said "Why, you haven't talked to me in 5 years, so why start now."

  All my friends are becoming dads

  this is a sign that i'm getting older, all my friends are becoming parents.

  one of my buddies just emailed me, telling me he might not be able to make my bachelor party because him and his girlfriend have to go out of town to her parents' place, and let them know that she's pregnant.

  Kids are great, i have wonderful neices and nephews, and enjoyed having them around, i've never met a parent who did like kids,

  having said that, i am 37, and I have no kids, and have no intentions of having any, and life is great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  so to each their own, i like your attitude when you say, "i want to enjoy my wife for the first few years." , because once you have kids, those days will be few and far between,

  a morbid topic i know, but one that has played on my mind since i was df'd.. my mum is still a very devout witness.

  if anything happened to her, what would the witness position be on my attending the funeral ?.

  i know she would (quite rightly)expect a service at the kingdom hall.

  my dad died a few years after i had left, no one questioned me being there, so i don't think you will have a problem.

  having said that, now my mom is in very bad shape , probaly won't last more then a few years, and i have NO intention of going to the kingdom hall when/if she goes, i will attend at the funeral home and the grave site, but i will never set foot in the kingdom hall again, for any reason.

  how many of you have thought or have left your mate for someone else, was it worth it, or worth it that you stayed ???.

  going through a difficult time right now, we've been together 15 years now, no kids, shes a couple years older then me.

  i WILL reply to each and every post, just bear with me, gotta go to work now, be back on around midnight tonight, Game 1 goes in Tampa, Calgary is upside down right now, will be a busy night, thanks to all, and i PROMISE, i am going ro respond to each and every post, and shed more "new light" (no pun intended), on the whole situation and some ideas for you women, DON'T EVER THINK your mate isn't thinking what i am now, IT CAN HAPPEN anythime in life, at any age.

  If your wife is working day shift, maybe she feels like you are drifting apart as a couple because your schedules conflict.

  i have to agree, she has always complained about my work schedule, i do try to make time for us, but its never enough, but then again, she knew my type of work when we started out together. Hard to change jobs, when you're realy qualified in one area.

  If your wife is at home alone, perhaps she feels resentment that you are unavailable to her when most "normal" families are together.

  My woman's point of view: an affair isn't going to help matters, whether it is with another woman or with your job. And yes, people can and do get jealous of something seemingly innocuous like a job. If it's making you emotionally unavailable to your spouse, your spouse will pick up on it and feel neglected.

  No affair, but she has no solutions either, well reasonable ones.

  I can promise you that your wife would rather have more quality time with YOU than a big expensive house and a car.

  I agree, my point is that i have tried so much, and it doesn't seem to matter, i was using as examples, i have made time for her, we do have alot of fun, but when i have to go into a 5-8 day stretch, shes not supportive with me, more against me, then helping me.
